MARGARET JOHNSTON, PhD

My undergraduate study was in Physics and Philosophy. My graduate study is in Physics. I have completed an MS in Physics by researching the emission mechanisms of active galactic nuclei. I have recently completed my doctoral studies with a research focus in gravitational wave detection and modeling General Relativistic theory. 
 

I have been sailing on the Great Lakes since childhood with extensive experience on dinghies and keelboats alike. I am a versatile sailor with a deep understanding of how all positions participate and contribute to create a superior racing performance.
